I have put together a video of SQL Server 2012 RC 0 installation for everyone’s reference.The video guides through the installation steps from beginning till end. Before proceeding with the video, Its recommended to read the prerequisites here and about some known issues during the installation here.

    0:36 u will get new window setup support rules. But it will just close or dissapear after installing setup files, How to fix it ?

      Hi Kevin, 
      Could you please share the set up logs with me? 

      The SQL Server setup logs for SQL Server 2012 are located in C:Program FilesMicrosoft SQL Server110Setup BootstrapLog (replace C: for your system drive), the setup program creates a folder for each one of the setup executions using for the name the date and time when the setup started, for example in one of my boxes I have the following folders

      20120312_160645 (Year 2012 month March day 12, time 16:06:45)
      20120312_160623 (Year 2012 month March day 12, time 16:06:23)
      20111005_083757 (Year 2011 month October day 5, time 08:37:57)
      This folders are based on local machine date and time.

      Also, could you let me know the errors/warning logged in event viewer at the time installation failed.
